Global Warming is the condition in which the temperature of the earth rises beyond the normal point. So as to increase earth’s temperature. This increase in temperature results in ‘Global Warming’.
There is a view that excess population result in Global Warming but this view is not admitted by all. The people who who believe that growing population has noting to do with Global warming say that the emission of green house gases was there since the beginning of the century, so it has nothing to do with population. But the fact is that growing population do effect environment. Let us discuss how?
Effects Of Population On Global Warming:
The effects which the growing population has on Global Warming includes:
- Delipidation of fisheries and environment related to them
- Loss of rain forests thus increasing the level of green house gases in the atmosphere
- Increase in population has resulted in a decrease of clean drinking water
- Large population requires enough space to live , more food to eat. All this result in cutting down of trees thus no fresh air to breathe, accumulation of greenhouse gases in enough quantity in the atmosphere.
Global Warming And Population:
The fact is that the growing population do play an important role in increasing the Global warming on this earth. It is because population needs more of oxygen to breathe, space to live, food to eat. All these basic living comes at the cost of environment. It is for the same reason that trees are cut down at a rapid speed thus destroying the environment. This destruction results in Global warming.
