Experiencing green around you, after having a good intake of alcohol is now emerging as a new concept to fight global warming. This brand new idea comes into the fore after the launch of a special beer in Australia that is said to be helpful to give a blow to the global warming.
New Beer Launched To Fight Against Global Warming
The company claimed that all of the green house gases generated through the life of a Cascade Green, from choosing of the hops straight to the bare bottles thrown in the recycling bin, are compensated.
This process is actually done by buying the certified carbon offsets from Hobart Landfill Flare Facility, accredited by government. It arrests and recycles gases. The full processing is done in Tasmania, where the Cascade brewery is based.
Ben Summons, marketing manager of Cascade Green said that all of the carbon offset charges of the new beer are going to be taken by the company. The company has assured that the carbon offset charges would not be imposed on the consumers.
The beer, manufactured by the Cascade Green is told to contain low carbohydrate and is categorized as a “premium” beer. It will cost $ 17.99 (16.97 US) for a six-pack of 330ml bottles.
“Innovation plays a very important role for growth within the premium beer market,” said Summons. “Cascade Green is a great example of innovation that taps into consumer trends but also from a Cascade perspective it’s a natural evolution for us,” he added.
