The latest research found the real reason behind the increasing temperatures in Europe. You may wonder to know that it is ‘water vapor’. Water evaporated due to various reasons absorbs the infrared radiation and re-emits it, thus increasing the temperatures.
Latest research done by Swiss experts found that the heat from various greenhouse gases is causing more water to evaporate into the atmosphere above Europe. This evaporated water is warming up Europe by further adding to the greenhouse effect.
It is a known fact that temperatures throughout the Northern Hemisphere are increasing every year. But, compared to Northern Hemisphere, the rate of increase is more in Europe. Especially in central Europe - Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, and Slovenia – the rate of increase in temperatures is 3 times faster than the hemisphere.
Earlier scientists used to speculate that the reason for the rising temperatures in Europe is normal weather-circulation patterns. But, with the findings of latest research study, it is confirmed that weather patterns have low influence on temperature increase. It is water vapor that is the major culprit for the temperature rise.
Now, the scientists are clear about the exact reason for temperature increase. It is not – clouds, sun, or aerosols -, it is increase in greenhouse gases and the water vapor due to it. Now, the every country in Europe should make efforts to save Europe from greenhouse effect by controlling the increase of greenhouse gases.
