Global warming is not just affecting Human beings but also animals in a very adverse manner. These are some of the members of the animal species that are facing a serious threat due to global warming.

Harlequin Frogs
- are dying because of Global Warming. Due to the heating of the atmosphere a very deadly fungus is growing on them. This has lead some of the frogs to lose their legs or grow more legs.

Polar Bear
- Polar Bears depend on sea ice. But due to global warming the ice is melting. Scientists blame Global Warming for this. If the sea ice melts, then the Polar Bears will not have a habitat to live in.

Adeline penguins
- These penguins are better known as tuxedoed penguins. They are in danger because their habitat is getting warmer. Warmer weather causes the amount of algae in the water to decrease which causes a decrease in the krill shrimp. Krill shrimp is the main food source of the Adeline penguins and this poses a serious threat to their existence.

Monarch butterflies- These butterflies are hardly been seen now days.Their migration patterns to Canada and North America have changed lately. Now they have been migrating to Mexico in order to protect themselves from rain and freezing temperatures.

Cold water fish
- These fish are loosing their habitat as the temperatures rise. Cold water fish need their water to be a frigid mixture of glacial and spring water.
