Positive effects of Global Warming

Global Warming according to certain experts is falsely dragged many a times into various issues. Scientists make false statements and the rest of the world including fellow scientists accept the statements without researching the claims. Media adds fuel to the fire making the issue of Global Warming sound all the more worse. There are two such incidents which happened in the recent past.

An academic paper forecasting an increase in the power of hurricanes (typhoons) due to global warming was published by Thomas Knutson and Robert Tuleya , two American scientists. A computer model was used in which the sea surface temperature was warmed. They found that 60 percent of the changes in the computer’s hurricanes could be attributed to that effect.

In reality, only 10 percent of the behavior of hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean (where there are the best long-term records) is related to sea surface. Global Warming does not affect the hurricanes some experts say.

Another incident which was exaggerated was the news that the North Pole was melting. It turned out that the two scientists who made this discovery were onboard a Russian icebreaker serving as a tourist ship when they encountered water at the North Pole. Without researching they made statements to a news paper. Historical records shows that open water is occasionally found at the North Pole at the end of summer. Open water does not mean the North Pole is melting.

Scientists have proved that Global Warming has helped make the earth greener. Satellite measurements have shown the earth to be greener than before it was warmed. Thousands of experiments reported in the scientific literature prove that increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere dramatically increases food production.

Also studies have proved that global warming is likely to increase winds that actually destroy hurricanes.

Well this proves that Global Warming is not that bad for our Climate.
